This course takes a minimum of 14 months to complete.
A team leader is a first line management role in a business or organisation. Team leaders’ responsibilities could include a specific project, operational matters or managing a team to deliver a clearly defined outcome. Team leaders provide direction, instructions and guidance to ensure the set goals are achieved.
Team leaders work in the private, public or third sector and in all sizes of organisations, so specific responsibilities will vary, but the knowledge, skills and behaviours needed will be the same regardless of sector and industry.

On completion, apprentices may choose to register as Associate Members with the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) and/or the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM) to support their professional career development and progression.
