As a Level 2 commis chef apprentice, you will be learning and developing new and existing skills to complete various modules for yor apprenticeship course. Your day to day duties may include, but are not limited to: Ensure you know which products are the most profitable to ensure sales and profit is optimised. Ensure correct portion control of all products to reduce wastage and optimise profit Ensuring efficient stock control. Deliver an exceptional service by positively participating in training as directed by management (e.g. health & safety, food hygiene etc.). Improve / maintain the pub’s ‘Scores on the Doors’ rating (as issued by the Environmental Health Officer) and internal audit score. Ensure you adhere to all Company procedures for health and safety and food safety. Ensure that you strictly adhere to the dress code of the pub.Ensure you keep up to date with all product changes, specials, offers and the ingredients of all dishes.Deliver ‘Magical Places, Legendary Pubs’. Improve/maintain the pub’s customer experience score.Ensure all customer enquiries and/or complaints are responded to positively.The hourly wage may vary dependant on your age:16 years old , £5.35 17 years old , £5.8018 years old , £6.50The working week will be 40 hours across the week including evenings and weekends.
