At 14, Jordan worked as a pot wash and the head chef let him have a go at making pizzas. That was it, he was hooked. As a Commis Chef at The Red Lion, Chalgrove, Jordan loves the endless cycle of learning. Every day is a school day on an apprenticeship and that means he never gets bored. Jordan loves nothing more than bringing joy to people by producing food to the best of his ability. Jordan’s top kitchen tools are his Chef’s Knife and Santoku Knife because he uses them every day. The Red Lion, Chalgrove The Red Lion is a family run pub based in the small, picturesque village of Chalgrove, Oxfordshire. Its food is typically British cuisine with additional themed evenings and events touching other cuisines. The business is well- known for having a broad menu with everything cooked from scratch.
