About the vacancy
This position is a Term-Time only role, you will be working 39 weeks of the year. You will work towards a level 2 or level 3 apprenticeship in Food Production. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic person to kick start their career, where you will learn the basics of catering and customer service. Some evening work will be required, and a uniform is provided. A Level 3 qualification is on offer for candidates that have a Level 2 or previous experience. Key responsibilities:Producing and preparing dishes, ensuring high standards are maintained.Taking payments from customers, working the till and giving the correct change.Ensuring the Front of House is kept to a high standard of cleanliness adhering to health and safety standards. Greet customers and give advice on what dishes are being served that day.Cleaning the Café to a high standard. Taking orders from customers and relaying this information correctly to the kitchen. Ensuring the café is set up and ready for customers and clearing the tables after a customer has left.Ensuring food safety standards and health and safety regulations are adhered to. Ensuring customers receive a high standard of service and customer care.
