<p>PLEASE NOTE: Wage advertised is for 16-17 years olds, National Minimum Wage for Age is paid</p><p><br></p><p>Poachers Pocket, Pub and Dining – looking to develop our training and development programme introducing new workers into the hospitality sector. This role will be perfect for someone looking to make a start in the kitchen/chef industry and looking to have work based learning whilst earning. We have well experienced mentors in place with years of industry insite, ready to help you through the apprenticeship. The course will be delivered by HIT training and you will be assigned your own tutor who will work closely with you supporting you all the way through your qualification.</p><p>Working as part of this close kitchen team, you will be responsible for maintaining and developing the efficiency and high standards within the kitchen. Using a wide range of fresh produce you will be involved in developing dishes and preparing ingredients and dishes ready for service. Reporting to the Head Chef and senior kitchen staff you will assist with the day to day running of the kitchen.</p><p>You will learn more about working safely and hygienically within the kitchen environment and maintaining this on a daily basis. As time goes along and your training and knowledge develops you will be given more responsibilities in the kitchen, working towards using more equipment and focusing on different aspects of service. </p>
