As a mum-of-four, the family loves trying out Shivanthy’s creative recipes and this is the inspiration behind her career change. This crab curry is one of her favourite native dishes and encompasses Shivanthy’s desire to create affordable, delicious food with zero waste. She’s also keen to explore other food cultures to widen her chef skills. One day, Shivanthy would like to write a book about her food’s cultural heritage. She also hopes to inspire other women in her community to work as chefs. Her foodie icon is her grandmother who she thinks of as the best cook in the world. Top kitchen gadget is the food processor.
