What is Kitchen Masterclass: Meat, Fish and Poultry?

Kitchen Masterclasses are designed to focus on foundation and transferable kitchen skills to boost apprentices’ knowledge, skills and behaviours. Each masterclass will vary in meat, fish and poultry choice depending on the apprenticeship programme.

  • Understand seasonality, provenance and nutritional value.
  • Minimising wastage and handling allergens.
  • Practising and building valuable skills to enable chefs to develop further towards End-point assessment.
