Embarking on the Coaching Professional apprenticeship equips apprentices with the essential principles of coaching, fostering the ability to build meaningful and effective coaching relationships. You will explore a variety of coaching tools and techniques, gain insights into the importance of and be guided by coaching supervision, and learn to critically evaluate coaching practices. This comprehensive training ensures you are well-prepared to empower others, drive development, and achieve transformative results in both personal and professional contexts.
The broad purpose of the occupation is to work with a wide range of individuals and teams across organisations, to empower and engage with them to enhance their professional performance. Coaching is a way of leading in a non-directive manner, helping people to learn through deep listening and reflective, open questions rather than instructing, giving advice or making suggestions.

Level 5
If an apprentice is aged 16-18 and has not previously achieved the required level of English and maths, they will need to complete Functional Skills as part of their apprenticeship programme.

For those without prior English and Maths qualifications, we recommend level 1 maths and level 2 English to support career growth and workplace efficiency.
Our tailored support ensures these skills are seamlessly integrated into the apprenticeship journey, helping every apprentice develop these vital skills.
