Brewer Finishing – Filtration, CIP & Engineering

Apprentices are introduced to key techniques used to filter beer including cartridge, powder filtration and cross flow systems.


The theory and practice of vessel cleaning using CIP [Cleaning in place] is discussed and apprentices are introduced to concepts of process control.

Energy consumption, energy reduction and the carbon footprint of beer are also covered to round off the workshop.
