Hospitality businesses are missing a trick - less than half (46.3%) offer apprenticeships at all career levels. But what would happen if organisations addressed outdated perceptions and teased out talent in their whole workforce through apprenticeships? The skills gap would lessen and staff would feel more valued. In our new toolkit, we’ve teamed up with hospitality leaders, Peter Avis, General Manager at GALVIN AT WINDOWS, London Hilton and Vice-Chair of the Institute of Hospitality, and Natasha Thakker, Assistant Director of Human Resources at Royal Lancaster Hotel, to share their expertise. The toolkit provides advice on how to look past the traditional experience-based CV, spot signs of talent hiding within a hospitality team, and bring these to the surface through apprenticeships.
