Level 5
| 18 months + EPADrive exceptional guest experiences and build high-performing teams to exceed business goals
As a Hospitality Operations Manager apprentice, you’ll embark on a transformative journey designed to elevate your leadership in one of the most fast-paced and evolving industries. You’ll gain the knowledge and skills needed to lead high-performing teams, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and seamless operations across a variety of hospitality settings.
Our programme goes beyond traditional operational management. You’ll tackle challenges unique to the hospitality sector, such as managing diverse, multicultural teams, maintaining service standards across multiple sites, and utilising innovative software to enhance the guest experience. Whether it’s mastering pricing strategies, understanding guest lifetime value, or implementing sustainable practices, this apprenticeship will give you the tools to lead with confidence and drive meaningful change in the industry.
This programme is designed specifically for leaders in hospitality, giving you the skills to not only manage but transform operations at department, site and multi-site levels.
Employers will set their own entry requirements in order to start this apprenticeship.
18 months + EPA
On completion of the Hospitality Operations Manager Level 5 apprenticeship, apprentices can register as full members with the Chartered Management Institute (CMI). After 3 years of management experience, this can progress to Chartered Manager status with the CMI.
The cost of your apprenticeship is fully covered, with funding arranged through your employer.
Level 5
If an apprentice is aged 16-18 and has not previously achieved the required level of English and maths, they will need to complete Functional Skills as part of their apprenticeship programme.
While Functional Skills are no longer mandatory for adult apprentices (19+), literacy and numeracy skills remain essential for success.
For those without prior English and Maths qualifications, we recommend level 2 maths and level 2 English to support career growth and workplace efficiency.
Our tailored support ensures these skills are seamlessly integrated into the apprenticeship journey, helping every apprentice develop these vital skills.
The End Point Assessment (EPA) for the Operations or Department Manager Apprenticeship includes:
Every apprentice is assigned a personal Vocational Trainer who will meet with the apprentice face-to-face and online throughout the programme.
