This Business Administrator apprenticeship is aimed at entry-level and mid-level managers. The programme focuses on advancing key skills and organisational knowledge to support progression to management.
This course takes a minimum of 15 months to complete.
Business administrators play a vital role in organisations and businesses, helping them run more efficiently. They complete a wide variety of administrative duties using good judgement, strong written and verbal communication skills and various IT software and systems.
Successful business administrators have an eagerness to learn, an ability to use their initiative and solve problems.
Business administrators can work on an individual basis or as part of a team, within organisations and industries of any size and type.

Employers will set their own entry requirements in order to start on this apprenticeship, but typically requires five GCSEs at Grade C or higher.

The Business Administrator role is a great foundation that can lead to further management or senior support roles within a business.

If an apprentice is aged 16-18 and has not previously achieved the required level of English and maths, they will need to complete Functional Skills as part of their apprenticeship programme.
While Functional Skills are no longer mandatory for adult apprentices (19+), literacy and numeracy skills remain essential for success.
For those without prior English and Maths qualifications, we recommend level 1 maths and level 2 English to support career growth and workplace efficiency.

The End Point Assessment (EPA) for the Business Administrator Apprenticeship includes:
HIT Training assigns a designated Vocational Trainer to each apprentice. Alongside the apprentice they will agree on a personal learning and development plan, setting a timetable of learning activities in preparation for the End Point Assessment (EPA).
The HIT Vocational Trainer will meet with the apprentice regularly either online or face to face to complete and review assessments, provide further coaching where required and agree the next steps of learning.
