We Are Now a Planet Mark Certified Business

We are proud to announce that we are now Planet Mark Certified, marking a significant step in our commitment to sustainability and working towards net zero emissions.

To make a real difference, we need to understand and measure our carbon footprint. By tracking our emissions across our business and supply chain, we can identify where we need to make changes and reduce our environmental impact. Each year, we will expand what we measure to build a clearer picture of our total emissions. The more we measure, the more we can reduce.

Our goal is to achieve net zero, which means cutting at least 90% of our emissions across everything we do. As part of this, we have committed to:

Reducing our Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 5% each year
Improving our data accuracy from year three onwards
Expanding our measurement to include more areas of our business

What Do Scope 1, 2, and 3 Emissions Mean?

  • Scope 1: Direct emissions from things we own or control, like company vehicles and gas heating.
  • Scope 2: Indirect emissions from the energy we buy, such as electricity.
  • Scope 3: Indirect emissions from everything else in our supply chain, including business travel, waste, and the products and services we purchase.

Becoming Planet Mark Certified is just the beginning. We are committed to making real, measurable progress towards a more sustainable future. As we move through Planet Mark’s Net Zero Certification Programme, we will continue to track our progress and share updates along the way.

By taking action now, we are reducing our impact on the planet and ensuring sustainability is a core part of everything we do.
