HIT Training Offers Chartered Management Degree Apprenticeship to Drive Business Improvement

HIT Training is offering the BA (Hons) Management and Leadership Apprenticeship Degree, enabling hospitality businesses to develop their managers’ skills and expertise to drive significant and sustainable business improvement.

The programme, open for applications until 1st October 2018, is an advanced, degree-level qualification for employees already working in management and leadership roles, who have not yet benefited from formalised training.

The apprenticeship will be delivered by HIT Training in partnership with Anglia Ruskin University, and is designed to stretch employees’ skills through complex assignments and projects that will help deliver business impact.

The four key areas of development are:

  • Developing leadership and management capability
  • Analysing and determining business improvement
  • Understanding organisational performance
  • Delivering business improvement.

Over the three-year programme, apprentices will undertake a structured and rigorous learning process to satisfy the Degree Assessment, Apprenticeship Standard and Chartered Manager Status. The apprenticeship is work based and the projects on this course are designed in the context of the apprentice’s own place of work to deliver real business change.

Jill Whittaker, Managing Director of HIT Training, commented: “We’re very proud to offer a specialised Charted Manager Degree Apprenticeship, which is specifically designed to formalise and refine managers’ skills to a high level, which will ultimately benefit businesses within the hospitality industry. The fact that apprentices are tasked with identifying and implementing business change in areas that could make a commercial gain in their own place of work provides an exciting opportunity for both managers and employers to make a meaningful difference to the business’ performance.”

The deadline for applications is 1st October 2018.

HIT Training encourages hospitality businesses looking to strengthen their management and leadership capabilities to get in touch now.
