Hospitality Unites to Launch New Graduate Apprenticeship Programme

Building a Future Talent Pipeline for Hospitality

The UK hospitality sector is facing a leadership challenge – with the decline of traditional graduate schemes and a shrinking pipeline of future leaders.

That’s why UKHospitality and HIT Training are partnering to launch the Hospitality Graduate Apprenticeship Programme, a four-and-a-half-year, work-based alternative to traditional graduate routes.

Launching in September 2025, the programme will provide a structured pathway to leadership through three apprenticeship levels – 3, 5 and 7 – tailored to different career entry points and fully fundable via the apprenticeship levy or 95% government co-investment.

It’s a sector-led solution to attract, retain and develop high-potential individuals into long-term hospitality careers.
