HIT partners with Hospitality Jobs UK to form new recruitment partnership

We’re excited to announce our partnership with Hospitality Jobs UK (HJUK) to create a complete recruitment marketing solution.

We recognise that there isn’t an ‘off-the-shelf’ approach when it comes to apprentice recruitment, especially in such a competitive market space. Our solution will give businesses the edge when it comes to finding, attracting and hiring the best talent available.

Unlike conventional methods that primarily target school and college leavers, we’ve partnered with HJUK to broaden accessibility to candidates genuinely motivated to pursue a career in hospitality. Research has recently uncovered that more than 16,500 workers over 50 have joined the hospitality sector in the last three years[1], showing the need to appeal to often-neglected demographics with a diverse range of people now entering hospitality.

Together, we have come up with a solution which is bespoke to a business’s recruitment objectives and company culture. Whether a business wants to recruit apprentices internally or externally, we will support you to choose the right communication channels, apprentice on-boarding process and online media promotion.

Jill Whittaker, CEO of Executive Development Network, said, “Employers could be doing more to support new demographics coming into the hospitality industry which is why we’ve partnered with HJUK to come up with a solution to promote our apprenticeships further. Apprenticeships are for everyone, not just those fresh out of education and we want to support those joining our industry in any way we can.”

Hospitality employers working with HIT Training will now benefit from a pool of motivated candidates searching for hospitality apprenticeships near me through the partnership with HJUK – one of the UK’s largest hospitality specific job boards.

Dawn Bowstead, Founder of HJUK said, “We’ve partnered with HIT Training to build awareness that anyone at any stage in their career and life can join an apprenticeship. Developing skills that will further someone’s career will not only keep them motivated and engaged, it will also keep them in the industry which is at the core of every initiative we are involved in. Our role in the partnership is to highlight the range of apprenticeships available and at the same time educate employers of their worth. We’re delighted to be working closely with HIT Training and look forward to more employers taking advantage of the apprenticeship levy and in-turn helping future proof the hospitality industry.”
